2nd week of vacation in Chicago

Our trip to Chicago was so much fun. Susan and her family also came with us which made it extra special. There are things that can never be capture in pictures or write about it is the special time when you are with someone you love; someone that you can be yourself with, it is the feeling of being truly happy.

Any free time the kids would run to the game room and watch TV, play Wii, exercises, wrestle, or hang with all of that and all the junk food that they like that Nesreen made sure to have before we arrived the kids were in heaven.

At night we went to this amazing dinner that Hilary and Nesreen had set up for us it is called the midieval time. The kids absolutely loved it and specially Yasmeen as she had a special treat since it was the day before her birthday

Hilary’s family his brother and brothers wife, his sister and her family, his aunt and several of the friends came to celebrate Badi’s graduation from the university, Daniel graduation from high school, and Daniel’s Eagle Scout ceremony. This was emotional time for Nesreen as both of her boys would be leaving home moving to Florida. They are both in Orlando now Badi is working as a computer Engineer and Daniel is going to college. Badi and Daniel will both still have someone to baby them when needed as Rosa is only one mile away from them. We are all very proud of and they are setting a good example to all the other kids in the family to follow.

Then we spent the next couple of days visiting museums and down town Chicago and going out with families to eat and spending the night talking and not getting much of sleep.

1st week of our vacation to the US

Our trip to the United States was fantastic. We had the best time and every place we went we enjoyed every minute of it. Getting back to Haifa the trip took a lot longer than we expected as we could not make our connection to take the flight from Madrid to Tal Aviv. I should start the update from the first week and will tell you all about the flight home if you are patient to read through the four weeks before that.

The first week we spent it in South Florida with Susan, Kourosh, Naveed and Bayan. Who live next door to our old home in Sunrise. The same day we arrived we went to Bayan's game. He played so well we all were proud of him.

During the break the other kids join to play Yasmeen and Nadia were happy to be back at their old court playing basket ball.

After the game to celebrate the victory, Kourosh and Naim took the kids and went out for Ice cream to celebrate
The four kids had so much fun spending any free time out at the streets riding bicycles or scoters or just running after each other.
One of the things on the kids list was going together to Wannado city. For those of you not from Florida is it like a little city that the kids can run free everything is small size. They get to work and earn money from work as a doctor, police, a rubber, movie star, hair cutting, almost anything you can think of and then they can spend their money by going doing fun activates as rock climbing, candy, watching a show. It is really cool place for the kids and very well done. They ran around almost 8 hours in that place and had tons of fun and lots of candy.

For the weekend Hilary (Nesreen’s Husband) came to visit us from Chicago to Florida he had a class he was taking at that time which worked out perfect. Also Naim’s two sisters Ba and Ta came for the weekend. Susan and Kourosh had a full house. Kourosh fixed his famous kebab for B.B.Q and then the next day we went and spent a day at the beach at West Palm Beach the water was perfect we spent a lot at the beach swimming.

After a long day at the beach went out to eat.

The last day in Florida before we left to Chicago a friend took the kids to ride in one of the Boom trucks. We saw how much fun the kids had and for the good old days Susan and I went up also.
But off course we had to stop by for a good breakfast first.

Enjoying the ride To give you an idea of how high the truck went up

This was the end of our first week; three more weeks to update you on will try to do that soon after I catch up with some sleep. Next was our visit to Chicago.
